Our Specialties

Are you feeling down or anxious? Taking care of our physical health is important, but sometimes we forget to focus on what our mind is telling us. It can be tough when you're feeling nervous, struggling to get out of bed, or finding no interest in things you used to enjoy. But don't worry; these moments are normal, and there are people who can help. Whether talking to a friend, family member, or healthcare professional, reaching out can make a big difference. At MIBRAWELL, our team is dedicated to helping you manage your mental health needs and promoting wellness in a safe and welcoming environment. Let's work together to heal your mind and find peace.

  • Anxiety is something that many people experience from time to time. It's a natural human emotion that can be triggered by stress, and it can show up as feelings of unease, worry, or fear about something that's going to happen. For some people, anxiety can become more intense and start to interfere with daily life. When that happens, it's important to seek help and support from a mental health professional.

  • Depression is a mental health disorder that affects many individuals around the world. It can lead to persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and loss of interest in activities that once brought joy. Depression can have a significant impact on how you feel, think, and behave, which can result in a range of emotional and physical issues.

Some common symptoms of depression include constant feelings of sadness and hopelessness, loss of interest in activities, changes in appetite and weight, sleep disturbances, fatigue, feelings of worthlessness or guilt, difficulty concentrating, physical symptoms such as headaches or stomachaches, and recurrent thoughts of death or suicide.

It is important to note that depression affects people differently, and not everyone will experience the same symptoms. Some people may have more severe symptoms than others, but even mild symptoms can have a significant impact on one's daily life.

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that can develop as a result of experiencing or witnessing a traumatic event. PTSD can affect anyone who has gone through a traumatic experience, such as a serious accident, physical assault, sexual assault, military combat, or exposure to natural disasters.

    Symptoms of PTSD can include:

    1. Reliving the trauma through flashbacks or nightmares

    2. Avoidance of places, people, or activities that are reminders of the traumatic event

    3. Negative changes in mood and thinking, such as feeling detached, guilt or shame, or loss of interest in previously enjoyed activities

    4. Hyperarousal, including being easily startled, feeling irritable or angry, or having difficulty sleeping

    5. Intrusive thoughts or memories related to the traumatic event

    6. Physical symptoms such as headaches or stomachaches

  • Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition that affects a person's mood, energy, activity level, and ability to function. Individuals with bipolar disorder experience episodes of mania and depression, which can vary in intensity and frequency.

During a manic episode, a person may feel abnormally euphoric, irritable, or agitated. They may talk rapidly, have racing thoughts, engage in impulsive or risky behaviors, and have a decreased need for sleep.

During a depressive episode, a person may feel sad, empty, or hopeless. They may lose interest in activities they once enjoyed, have difficulty concentrating, experience changes in appetite or sleep, and may even have suicidal thoughts.

  • Managing stress is crucial for improving overall well-being. It's completely normal to experience stress from various sources like work, relationships, finances, or health issues. But if it becomes chronic, it can have negative effects on your physical, emotional, and mental health.

By actively managing stress, you can reduce its negative effects on your overall health. However, if you feel that stress is becoming too much to handle or starting to affect your daily life, it's important to seek help from a mental health professional. Don't hesitate to ask for support and guidance when you need it!

Treatment Approaches

  • Cognitive Behavior Therapy

Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that is focused on helping individuals change their negative thought patterns and behaviors that are causing them distress. It is a short-term, goal-oriented therapy that is often used to treat a variety of mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. CBT is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are all interconnected, and that by changing our thoughts and behaviors, we can improve our mental health and well-being.

  • Supportive Therapy

Supportive therapy is a type of counseling that provides emotional and psychological support to individuals who are going through a difficult time. It aims to help people cope with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues by providing them with a safe and non-judgmental environment to express their thoughts and feelings. We may use various techniques such as active listening, empathy, and validation to help the client feel heard and understood.

  • Psychiatric Evaluation

Psychiatric evaluation is a medical assessment that aims to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. It involves a thorough examination of a person's mind and behavior to determine the presence of any psychological or emotional issues. This evaluation is usually carried out by a mental health professional who will ask the patient a series of questions to assess their mental state and identify any potential issues. The results of the evaluation can help guide treatment and therapy, and may include recommendations for medication, counseling, or other forms of intervention.

  • Medication management

Medication management involves the careful and systematic administration of medication to ensure that patients receive the right dose of the right medication at the right time. This process involves a number of different steps, such as assessing the patient's medical history and current condition, determining the appropriate medication and dosage, educating the patient on how to take the medication, and monitoring the patient's response to the medication over time. Proper medication management is essential to ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and can manage their medical conditions effectively.
